Bethesda kicked off E3 last month with a stunning first look at the long-awaited reboot of the popular Doom franchise. Our first impression of it betrayed a troubled development that included the costly decision to scrap an early version of the game back in 2012.
Much like its violent protagonist, the Doom reboot mowed down every obstacle that’s come its way, and now it’s just about ready to show us what it’s got.
Or, more specifically, it’s ready to show QuakeCon attendees what it’s got. The expo kicked off today in Dallas, so you may want to partake in a little demon murder between panels. The rest of us will have to wait for the multiplayer demo to be made available to registered owners of Wolfenstein: The New Order. The alpha won’t be open to everyone, so I suggest keeping an eye on your inbox as they’ll be sending out invites “soon”.
