If you thought the Five Nights at Freddy’s tetralogy was about a gaggle of rogue animatronic murder-bots, then you must have spent as much time with the games as I have. There’s considerably more to it then that, only it’s revealed with such subtlety that you could finish one of the games and not pick up any of the numerous hints that have inspired a seemingly endless supply of fan theories that continue to be debated three sequels later.
I don’t often watch lore videos and I never write about them here, but I had to share this video from YouTuber slimcicle, if only because it’s probably an accurate representation of what happens to the human brain when it’s spent too many nights at Freddy’s.
