Wild Eye Releasing, the independent genre distributor, is set to release the zombie thriller A Plague So Pleasant to DVD on August 25th. Wild Eye definitely has a style and they happily stick to it. In the past they’ve released some titles I’ve really enjoyed, such as President Wolfman and Murder University, but there’s also been the ones I could do without like Scream Park and The Perfect House. Where exactly A Plague So Pleasant falls is anybody’s guess, but I’m more than willing to give it a try. The premise definitely sounds interesting. What says you, Bloody Disgusting readers?
Synopsis:
In the near future, zombies have become a protected, endangered species, held in captivity and legally wandering the streets free from harm by the living. But for the loved ones of those who die, sometimes coping is just too much to handle, especially when not everyone feels the dead have a right to exist, and are willing to break the law to rid the world of this new population of the dead.
