Revised “Ash vs Evil Dead” Poster Brings Our Hero to the Forefront
Fans were weirdly complaining that Bruce Campbell was “too small” on the official poster for Starz’s “Ash vs Evil Dead.”
While silly, it gave an opportunity for people to get creative, which is exactly what Michael P. Shipley did. He shared the following amended version that brings our hero Ash to the forefront where he belongs, leaving co-stars Ray Santiago’s “Pablo Simon Bolivar” and Dana DeLorenzo’s “Kelly Maxwell” in the background where they belong.
Set to premiere on October 31st, Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

The sci-fi thriller heads to Digital and VOD on July 10, 2026.

The film comes from writer-director William Woods and stars Constance Wu, Mark O’Brien, William Fichtner, Callista Crowe, Isaac Smelcer-Zhang, Oscar Hsu, and Murray Furrow.
Maddy Falle, Albert Shin, and Allison White produce. Executive producers include Rob McGillivray, Ben Stranahan, Tom Spriggs, John Hansen III, Patrick Vipond, Jared Blaichman, Jonah Blaichman, and Randall Okita.
