A new video for the upcoming Starz series “Ash vs Evil Dead” goes behind-the-scenes and lets us hear from cast and crew about what we can expect and their own experiences with the show.
It’s awesome to see Bruce Campbell talk so passionately about the project as well as seeing him have tons of fun in the role of Ash. It’s also great that we get to see Sam Raimi in action as well as hear from composer Joseph LoDuca, who composed the original Evil Dead trilogy, about what we as fans can look forward to seeing. Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, and Dana DeLorenzo also each chime in with their views.
In the 10-episode “Ash vs Evil Dead” series premiering this fall, “Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.”
