File this under the most obvious news ever, but this tracking board alleges that Sony is so confident in the Jack Black-starrer Goosebumps that they’ve begun seeking a writer to tackle a sequel.
Obviously, the film, in theaters October 16th, needs to perform well at the box office for this to move forward. To call this premature is an understatement.
Directed by Rob Letterman, Goosebumps stars Jack Black as R.L. Stine, who has all of his creations accidentally released. What follows is complete insanity with every creature from the Abdominal Snowman to the Invisible Boy, Wolf Man, Evil Gnomes and even Slappy! It’s like Jumanji meets the classic The Monster Squad, and looks like tons of fun!
