MAJOR Spoilers From “The Walking Dead” Season Six Emerge

Published

on

If you’re an avid watcher of AMC’s “The Walking Dead“, this article should be avoided at all costs. We’re going to be talk about some seriously intense potential spoilers which will affect your viewing experience. To make sure nothing is accidentally spoiled for you, here’s the factual information and the actual spoiler talk won’t happen until you scroll down.

“The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, and Lennie James.

“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC Sunday, October 11th.

Alright, so here’s what currently abuzz on the internet, specifically coming from The Spoiling Dead (heh, clever name):

During the mid-season finale, many of the main characters find themselves needing to cover themselves in walker guts and organs (a lá season one) as a horde has infiltrated Alexandria and they need to find their way to safety. This group includes Rick, Michonne, Father G, Carl, Jessie, Ron, and Sam, all of whom are walking hand-in-hand.

However, then things devolve into serious chaos as Sam gets grabbed and begins to get eaten. Jessie desperately tries to save him, meanwhile refusing to let go of Carl’s hand. In a desperate move to save his son, Rick chops off her hand, causing her to fall into the arms, and teeth, of the walkers.

Furious, Ron aims his gun at Rick to shoot him and Carl dives in the way to save his father, getting his eye shot in the process. Michonne kills Ron, Rick loses it, and they all manage to escape. Nothing is known about what Father G is doing during this whole situation.

Now, this is a direct nod to the comic, in which Carl gets his eye accidentally shot out by Douglas. However, this seems like a set up for Rick to hate and distrust humans nearly as much as the walkers, which is already a path he seems intent on walking.

Alright readers, what are your thoughts on this potentially MASSIVE spoiler?

Legendary Grimdark ‘Warhammer 40,000’ Artist John Blanche Has Passed Away at 78

In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war, but it was a cheerful illustrator from England who helped to define the terrifying war-torn imagery that inspired what we now know as Grimdark (a hybrid genre combining horror with sci-fi/fantasy).

Unfortunately for fans of Warhammer 40,000, Trench Crusade and countless other sources of Grimdark thrills, veteran artist John Blanche passed away this week after struggling with health issues for the past few years.

While the artist retired back in 2023, he leaves us with an enormous legacy of iconic artwork that continues to inspire gamers and storytellers around the world to this very day.

The news is especially gloomy as it was only last year that Daniel Lowman and Napoleon Dynamite himself Jon Heder released The Grim & the Dark: The Search for John Blanche, a documentary following Heder’s exploration of the Grimdark genre culminating in a heartwarming encounter with Blanche in his own home.

Below is one of my favorite pieces by Blanche, his highly influential depiction of Warhammer 40k’s God-Emperor of Mankind on his Golden Throne.

We send our deepest condolences to John Blanche’s family, friends, and fans.
