Frictional Games has been quietly exploring their upcoming survival horror game SOMA through a series of trailers that have focused on its haunting music and the freaky water world we’ll be cautiously exploring in just a few short weeks from now.
This week’s video ratchets up the intensity considerably with its fleeting glimpses of the game’s nightmarish cast. Not to be outdone by the memorable monsters seen in the Amnesia: The Dark Descent, SOMA will star at least one blurry humanoid thing with a gimp leg, a light-shy machine thing with too many glowing eyes and other things that have been designed with the singular purpose of scaring the hell out of PC and PS4 owners on Sept 22.
