A trailer for the upcoming video game-to-film adaptation Dead Rising: Watchtower, which is based on the popular Capcom video game series, has been released and can be seen below.
The synopsis reads:
When a mandatory government vaccine fails and a full-scale zombie epidemic ensues, a news reporter and three other survivors are trapped inside a quarantine zone. The team must use everything they can find to fight off the flesh-hungry mob and evade becoming part of the undead horde.
Pat’s review stated, “…this film is for the fans.”
Written by Tim Carter (Sleeping Dogs), the film stars Rob Riggle (The Daily Show) as photojournalist Frank West, Jesse Metcalfe (John Tucker Must Die), Virginia Madsen (Sideways), Dennis Haysbert (Wreck it Ralph) and Meghan Ory (Vampire High). The film comes out on DVD and digital HD on October 6th.
