In what will be her biggest TV appearance since “Big Love”, Amanda Seyfried will be joining the cast of Showtime’s upcoming revival of the murder mystery series “Twin Peaks“, according to TVLine. Seyfried will be paying a “pivot new role” and her character will be in the series for multiple episodes. Showtime has declined to offer any further information.
“Twin Peaks”, which will hopefully debut its third season in 2016, was created by David Lynch and Mark Frost. The original storyline centered around FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper, who is assigned to investigate the murder of Laura Palmer, a young woman beloved by her community.
