Starz is going all out on their horror fare. With “Ash vs Evil Dead” set to premiere this Halloween, they’ve begun development on “Trapped,” a comic fightfest series with Mila Kunis and Rob Zombie exec producing, says Variety.
The half-hour comedy series is written by “Arrested Development’s” Joey Slamon and takes place over a single night in the home of a wealthy family under attack by a murderous cult.
It should be interesting to see how they expand this concept into a full season.
For those wondering, Zombie will also direct.
Kunis, along with Susan Curtis, Cami Curtis and Lisa Sterbakov, are exec producing under their Orchard Farm Productions banner.
