A New Face Will be Haunted in ‘The Conjuring 2’
Australia actress Lauren Esposito, who is apparently a newcomer to the acting world, has joined the cast of the upcoming supernatural horror film The Conjuring 2 in an unknown role, according to Deadline. She will play opposite returning stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who play Ed and Lorraine Warren (respectively), a husband/wife paranormal investigation duo.
The Conjuring 2 will tell the tale of the infamous “Enfield Poltergeist,” which took place at a council house in Brimsdown village, borough of Enfield, England during the late 1970s. It is being directed by James Wan based on a script from returning writers Chad and Carey Hayes.
The film has begun production and is set to haunt theaters on June 10th, 2016.

New Line’s ‘Companion’ from ‘Barbarian’ Team Has Been Rated “R” for “Strong Violence” & “Sexual Content”
From New Line Cinema and producer Zach Cregger (Director: Barbarian) comes the upcoming sci-fi/horror movie Companion, which has officially received its “R” rating this week.
Companion has been rated “R” by the MPA for…
“Strong violence, sexual content, and language throughout.”
The film’s cast includes Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets,” The Boogeyman) alongside Rupert Friend (Separation), Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”), Lukas Gage (“You”), Megan Suri (It Lives Inside), and Jack Quaid (Scream, “The Boys”).
Described as a sci-fi/horror movie, Companion will mark the directorial debut of Drew Hancock, who also wrote the script. At this time, plot details are under wraps.
