Paul Feig has been under fan attack ever since he was named as the director of the new Ghostbusters.
When it was revealed that the new ‘busters would be all female (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones), awful, vile, misogynistic hatred was tossed at Feig through social media. The amount of trash sent his way would have me closing my account, but Feig instead took to Twitter to call out some of the shit-bags who harass him. He even told one to “go fuck yourself.” Awesome.
It sucks that Feig has been pushed to the point of responding, but it is nice to see some trolls get called out for their mean-spirited and hypocritical assaults.

Sony recently moved Ghostbusters by a week into a new July 15, 2016 slot.
