Massive Hammer Collection Being Released on Blu-ray
If you’re a fan of Hammer horror you’re going to love this set that Shock, the company based out of Australia who just announced a massive Vincent Price set, are preparing to unleash on December 2nd. This will be the second Hammer Collection release by Shock, the first of which is now out-of-print. If you missed out on that first set, no worries because this new release actually contains every film from the first set with the addition of 4 more titles! That’s a lot of Hammer on one collection! No word yet on what exactly the special features are, but there is expected to be multiple featurettes, commentary and more! Full list of titles below. This set is region B. One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!
The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil.
