Variety is reporting that DreamWorks has picked up Magicus from screenwriter Peter Filardi (Flatliners, The Craft).
According to the site, Magicus will be, “…a supernatural family thriller in the spirit of an Amblin film about a hard-working single mother and daughter who stumble into a suburban war of witches.”
Nothing more has been revealed, but it should be noted that both Flatliners and The Craft are up for reboots, which is a testament to the longevity of both properties.
