The town of “Twin Peaks” is going to have to work double time to crank out enough coffee, cherry pie, and donuts for all these new faces!
Peter Sarsgaard (The Orphan) is the latest actor to join the cast of Showtime’s upcoming murder mystery show, appearing alongside Robert Knepper (“Prison Break”), Amanda Seyfried (Jennifer’s Body), and Balthazar Getty (Feast), according to TVLine. The only confirmed returning castmember as yet is Kyle MacLachlan, who will reprise his role as Special Agent Dale Cooper.
The third season was written by show creators David Lynch and Mark Frost, with Lynch directing all episodes. Just a few days ago, we reported that the third season might be shot as a single movie and then cut up to be more episodic.
