According to TVLine, Michael Ontkean has opted to not reprise his role as Sheriff Harry S. Truman in the upcoming “Twin Peaks” revival. Apparently Robert Forster will be playing the sheriff, although it’s not known if it’ll be Truman or a new sheriff entirely.
This news comes after the announcement that Peter Sarsgaard would be joining the cast as a recurring character.
The third season was written by show creators David Lynch and Mark Frost, with Lynch directing all episodes. We recently reported that the third season might be shot as a single movie and then cut up to be more episodic.
