Oil your barrels, marines, because a shotgun without proper lubrification is the third leading cause of death while combating the legions of hell, right behind running out of ammunition and forgetting your inhaler at home, oddly enough. The Doom closed multiplayer alpha will be available to some lucky space marines as early as this weekend, so I suggest practicing your curb stomp techniques right now, in case Bethesda invites you to partake in some demon whoopassery when the alpha goes live on Friday, October 23 at 12:01 AM ET.
Owners of Wolfenstein: The New Order can register on the game’s official website for a chance to get in on it. If you haven’t done so, you should probably get on that. The alpha runs until Sunday, October 25 at 11:59 PM ET, so time is running out.
