Alt-metal band Faith No More have released a psychedelic video for their track “Sunny Side Up”, which comes from their new album Sol Invictus. The video, which was directed by Joe Lynch (Everly, Knights of Badassdom), shows a nursing home where everyone is living in a gray, muted existence. Well, that’s the case until the head nurse slips a little something extra into every medication, a little something that causes colors to become vivid and getting the residents onto their feet to dance, cavort, and engage in some rather debaucherous activity. All in all, it’s kinda what I’d expect and I love it.
Sol Invictus was Faith No More’s first new album since 1997’s Album of the Year. It was met with critical acclaim and both Brad and myself really enjoyed the hell out of it!
