Waxwork Records has announced that they will be releasing Danny Elfman‘s original soundtrack to the adventure horror/comedy Goosebumps, which is currently haunting theaters. The album will go up for pre-sale this Friday.
To round out what will already be a fantastic release, Waxwork got Tim Jacobus, the man who illustrated the covers of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books, to create the artwork for the record, which you can see below.
The label explains, “The Waxwork Records crew grew up reading R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps books feverishly and we, like so many millions of Goosebumps fans across the world, became obsessed with the horrific, yet bright, colourful, and welcoming artwork by Tim Jacobus that graced each book cover.”
As always, there will be several variants offered through the label, so be sure to get there early to grab your favorite!
