Joe Hill, who saw his “Horns” adapted by Alex Aja, is taking his latest, “The Fireman,” to market for both TV and film.
Due in stores by April, “In a world overtaken by a deadly and dramatic new virus, Harper is determined to live long enough to deliver her baby. But when all it takes is a spark to start a deadly blaze, she’s going to need some help from the mysterious fireman.”
Hill, who is the son of Stephen King, has also penned “Heart-Shaped Box,” “Horns,” and “NOS4A2.”
His award-worthy IDW graphic novel “Locke & Key” went to pilot and FOX but was rejected. It is currently back in development as a series.
