Earlier this month, we reported on the intriguing possibility that the first DLC to come to Supermassive’s fantastic survival horror game Until Dawn would be an on-rails experience built for Sony’s PlayStation VR — previously known as Project Morpheus — virtual reality headset.
This week, that rumor emerged from its chrysalis as a truth, and boy is it pretty.
“Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is a descent into madness, taking you on a terrifying rollercoaster ride of thrills and scares in a fast-paced, arcade-style shooter,” explained Supermassive Games executive producer Simon Harris in a reveal on the PlayStation Blog.
This expansion is being developed exclusively for PlayStation VR, so there will not be a version that can be played without the headset, at least for now.
