Remember how everyone always says that in a zombie situation you should get on a boat and head to an island? After all, when you’ve cleared all the zombies, it’s not like more are going to swim out to your neck of the…ocean? That is unless they’re some Land of the Dead-type undead creatures. But I digress!
If you think heading to water is the best idea, you’re not alone as many of the cast and crew of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” will be embarking on a 3-day cruise this January, in a Sixthman and Walker Stalker Con partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line.
Scheduled for January 15th through 18th, the cruise starts in Miami and will wrap up in Nassau, Bahamas. Guests set to appear include Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Emily Kinney, Sonequa Martin-Green, Chad L. Coleman, Christian Serratos, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Ross Marquand, and Greg Nicotero, although more may be added before the ship sets sail.
Events planned include Q&A panels, activities, late night parties, gaming, costume contests, theme nights, and more. The official site states that participants, “…could participate in activities right alongside the very actors you’ve come to see!”
