There’s been a ton of sci-fi news this week, which continues with reports that Brandon Lee Tenney is rewriting Terrestrial for Lionsgate. Peter Gaffney wrote the previous draft, which has Tripp Vinson producing with Adam Rodin.
The story has been pitched as Close Encounters of the Third Kind meets Source Code.
“Over the Mojave Desert, an alien ship the size of the Chrysler building falls from the sky. Exhibiting no signs of life or communication, a team of brave, possibly insane, individuals must venture inside on a mission that could be mankind’s greatest discovery–or gruesome death. What they will find is a power beyond their understanding, wonderous and extremely dangerous, one that will change them forever.”
