Scream Factory Presents a Sci-Fi Double Bill with ‘The Dungeonmaster’ and ‘Eliminators’

Scream Factory presents a double dose of science-fiction fun with The Dungeonmaster & Eliminators in their Blu-ray debuts on December 15, 2015. This release comes complete with a new interview with director Peter Manoogian.

These double features from Scream Factory are some of my favorites from them. They’re typically two smaller releases that likely wouldn’t get much love elsewhere and they do a good job pairing titles together. I mean who doesn’t love a good double feature?

I’m quite familiar with The Dungeonmaster but I don’t think I’ve ever seen this unrated version so I’m definitely glad to see Scream Factory included that. Richard Moll is pretty fantastic in this movie, so you’re going to want to check it out. As far as Eliminators goes, this one will be new to me. Looking forward to giving it a go!

THE DUNGEONMASTER (AKA RAGE WAR) – Unrated Version
Paul, a young computer ace, is forced to pit his physical and mental skills against unimaginable odds when a hulking wizard looking for formidable opponents picks Paul as his next challenger. Paul faces a series of seven spectacular and death-defying challenges and must survive not only to save his life but that of his girlfriend’s too! Jeffrey Byron (Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn) and Richard Moll (Night Court) star in this eye-popping thriller featuring an appearance by W.A.S.P.!

*This version of The Dungeonmaster is unrated and different from the PG-13 version shown theatrically. It includes an additional scene with some nudity. Parental Discretion is advised.
ELIMINATORS
A mandroid – part man and part machine – seeks revenge on the evil scientist who created him. Enlisting the help of a beautiful woman and a mysterious ninja, he pursues the scientist in hopes of stopping him before he can be further harm to humanity. Andrew Prine (The Town That Dreaded Sundown) and Denise Crosby (Star Trek: The Next Generation) star.

•New High Definition Transfer (Eliminators)

Blumhouse and Lionsgate’s horror movie Imaginary is now available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital from Lionsgate, in the wake of the film scaring up $39 million at the box office.

To whet your appetite for the home video release, Lionsgate has provided Bloody Disgusting with an exclusive clip from the bonus features package, which takes you into the Never-Ever, a land of pure imagination where monsters roam free. This is a horror movie, after all.

“The Never-Ever set was a really fun set to conceive with [director Jeff Wadlow],” production designer Meghan Rogers recalls. “We really had to kind of think outside the box.”

The team built a real practical set and augmented it with visual effects to “make it seem a little bit more fantastical.” See how the Never-Ever came to life in the exclusive clip below.

DeWanda Wise (Jurassic World Dominion) stars in Imaginary

“Jessica moves back into her childhood home with her family. Her youngest stepdaughter Alice develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister. As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.”

The film also stars Tom Payne, Taegen BurnsPyper BraunVeronica Falcon, and Betty Buckley. The screenplay is by Jeff Wadlow & Greg Erb & Jason Oremland.

Blumhouse’s Jason Blum will produce, with Jeff Wadlow (Cry Wolf, Kick-Ass 2, Truth or Dare, Fantasy Island, The Curse of Bridge Hollow) producing and directing.
