Thrash metal legends Megadeth have released a stream of a new track titled “The Threat is Real” ahead of Black Friday’s Record Store Day, which will see the single released on limited edition 12″ vinyl. The B-side will feature Megadeth’s version of FEAR’s punk classic “Foreign Policy”. You can listen to the new track below!
Dystopia features 11 brand new tracks and features new guitarist Kiko Loureiro (Angra) as well as Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler. Original bassist Dave “Junior” Ellefson is also part of the team.
“The Threat is Real” comes from the band’s upcoming album Dystopia, which will be released on January 22nd, 2016. It can be pre-ordered via Megadeth’s online shop.
