Lunaris Releasing ‘Dellamorte Dellamore’ (‘Cemetery Man’) Soundtrack on Vinyl!

Published

We’re excited to bring you the exclusive reveal that Lunaris Records has announced they will be releasing the soundtrack to the criminally under-appreciated 1994 horror film Dellamorte Dellamore, also known by the name Cemetery man! Directed by Michele Saovi and starring Rupert Everett and the stunningly gorgeous yet incredibly mysterious Anna Falchi, the film is a mix of b-zombie horror with fascinating and surprisingly deep philosophical questions. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend giving it a chance. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever really seen before.

In addition to being a wonderful movie, the film also features a delightfully weird yet engaging score, composed by Manuel De Sica. The last issuing was a 2008 CD version from Italian label Digitmovies. Lunaris, however, is bringing the soundtrack to vinyl and cassette for the first time ever.

Mastered at 45RPM on 2xLPs, the release will feature artwork by Devon Whitehead and liner notes (in both Italian and English) by Fabio Capuzzo. It will be limited to 1,000 copies on four different variants, including a 180g black, and Gnaghi Vomit (puke colored), Ossuary (bone/beige with black streaks), and Ignis Fatuus (clear with white streaks), each on 150g vinyl. The last variant will be a retail exclusive through Light in the Attic, One Way Static, and other select participating retail locations.

Pre-orders for this vinyl will begin at 1pm EST this Friday, December 4th. The street date, we’re told, is being aimed at December 18th. It will be available via several online outlets, though we always recommend buying directly from the official Lunaris website.

Additionally, Lunaris will be running a contest to give away a test pressing of the album later today. Simply follow their Instagram for more details!

This Tempting Madness clip

A hospital stay grows more nerve-frazzling when memory loss distorts reality in our exclusive clip from This Tempting Madness, inspired by a true story.

The mind-bending psychological thriller will be released in select theaters and on demand on June 12 via Vertical.

Simone Ashley (“Bridgerton”) stars as Mia, who awakens from a coma, grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions and her perception of reality.

In This Tempting Madness, “Mia awakens from a coma grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions, and her perception of reality.”

Jennifer E. Montgomery makes her feature directorial debut from a script she co-wrote with director of photography Andrew Davis, inspired by Montgomery’s first-hand experience with tragedy involving her best friend.

“Months before the incident, there were signals that her world was unraveling,” says Montgomery. “I could feel the pressure building, though I didn’t know what form it would take. I never could have known what violence would come, and I certainly never imagined making a film about it.”

Austin Stowell (“NCIS: Origins”), Suraj Sharma (Happy Death Day 2U), Mojean Aria (Reminiscence), Amol Shah (“For All Mankind”), and Zenobia Shroff (“Ms. Marvel”) round out the cast.

Smoke Jumper Films and Mango Monster Productions produce in association with Catchlight Studios (HereticThe Blackening).

This Tempting Madness is rated R for “language, violence/bloody images, and brief sexuality.”
