Nintendo 3DS owners are getting a rare dose of old school survival horror with Dementium Remastered, which hits the console’s eShop today.
Developer Renegade Kid is giving it the same treatment they did for the HD re-release of its sequel almost two years ago, including revamped graphics, a new manual save system, and improvements to its weapons and enemies. The remaster will also introduce a new Demented difficulty setting for players who are looking for a real challenge.
With this out of the way, a third Dementium is a likely candidate for the Renegade Kid’s next project, now that the studio has reclaimed the rights to make new games in the series.
Otherwise, it’ll probably be that Cult County game they unsuccessfully tried to crowdfund last year. Which would you rather see?
