So, there’s a strong possibility that Mad Max: Fury Road may be returning to theaters in 2016, although it comes with the slight twist of it being the long awaited black-and-white version.
You see, fans have been clamoring for such a version when director George Miller stated that a B&W version was his original intent. And it was supposed to be given to us on the blu-ray release, which as we all know didn’t happen.
Therefore, it seems that Warner Bros. saw this as an opportunity to not only rerelease the movie in theaters but also will probably do a double dip home video drop. “Not only can you own Mad Max in color, you can also own it in black-and-white!” Thanks WB…
On the bright side, this is an opportunity to see Fury Road in theaters again. If you haven’t seen it on the big screen, you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s a fabulous event, one that blew me away when I saw it in theaters.
