…it’s not the full original lineup that many were hoping for. Still, it’s being confirmed through multiple sources that hard rock/heavy metal legends Guns N’ Roses will not only be headlining the 2016 Coachella concerts but also that they’ll be embarking on stadium tour through the year.
Now, when I said that it’s not the full original lineup, I can tell you that the confirmed names are vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan. Matt Sorum is said to be filling in for drummer Steven Adler and there’s no word yet on Izzy Stradlin. While disappointing that it’s not all of the original crew, I’m still pumped to get a chance to check out this lineup. That’s one helluva get together, especially after such a long and public feud.
The full Coachella announcement will come in early January.
