Back to the Future is one of those classic and unique films that proves original film ideas can be intelligent, engaging, exciting, and, most of all, wildly entertaining. It’s a movie that we here at Bloody-Disgusting have a strong fondness for and we’ll take any chance to give it some love.
While famous poster artist Drew Struzan’s iconic one-sheet for the film has become a cultural icon, there’s a different poster that has sprung up over at Ewbank’s that has a very different feel. Sporting a new tagline of “Marty’s parents were destined to meet in 1955. Until Marty dropped in from the future.“, the poster shows Crispin Glover and Lea Thompson in black-and-white with Marty bursting through their world in full color. Additionally, the iconic Delorean can be seen right in the middle.
It’s definitely not as memorable as Struzan’s but there is a charm to this poster that I can’t deny. And it’s always great to see this film still getting love 30 years after it came out.
