This morning we told you that The Veil was going straight to DVD February 2, 2016 through Universal Home Entertainment.
Directed by Phil Joanou, The Veil stars Jessica Alba (Idle Hands, Sin City, The Eye), Thomas Jane (Punisher, The Mist), Meegan Warner and Lily Rabe (“American Horror Story”) in a horror pic about the lone survivor of a cult’s mass suicide who returns to the scene with a documentary film crew 30 years later.
This afternoon Collider dropped the trailer and a massive image gallery, adding that it will also be available on VOD platforms day and date with DVD.
The film centers around a charismatic cult leader (Thomas Jane) who, back in the 1980’s led his followers to the largest mass suicide in United States history. Only one little girl survived and we discover her 25 years later (Lily Rabe) as she journeys back to the Heaven’s Veil Compound with a director (Jessica Alba) and her rag-tag documentary crew (Reid Scott, Shannon Woodward et al) in an attempt to find answers as to what really happened that fateful day. Supernatural mysteries are revealed, and lives are changed forever as we discover that things truly are not what they appear to be at The Veil…
