Bloody Disgusting learned today that Can Evrenol’s Turkish horror film Baskin, which premiered at TIFF’s Midnight Madness, will be opening on VOD and in limited theaters March 25th through IFC Midnight.

You can read my review, where I write, “It’s so shocking (at times) and so astoundingly well made that, if anything, I think it puts an exclamation stamp next to Can Evrenol’s name as one of the futures of horror.

Baskin, based on the short of the same name, sends a squad of unsuspecting cops through a trapdoor to Hell when they stumble upon a Black Mass in an abandoned building.
