One of the best shows you’re probably not watching is “You’re the Worst,” featuring Chris Geere.
Geere, who also starred in The Last Showing and M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth, is the perfect choice for this yet-to-be titteled horror-comedy from the Los Angeles and Mexico-based Dark Factory Entertainment.
THR says that Geere will play a paranormal investigator on a reality-TV show, who goes in search for better ratings to save his show– a quest that takes him to Mexico where he and his team attempt to produce a large spectacle in a haunted house that turns out to be truly haunted. With zero ghost hunting skills– or really any other applicable skills– the team has to figure out how to escape.
Geere has wonderful comedic timing and an awesome deliver of sarcasm, which should bode well for this kind of character.
First time feature director Tony West will helm the project, which begins production in March in Villahermosa and Mexico City. Dark Factory’s CEO Daniel Posada will produce.
