Charles Lee Ray, ahem, I mean “The Lakeshore Strangler” is still searching for a body.
The last we saw the ol’ Chuckster was in the 2013 Curse of Chucky where he did battle with newcomer Fiona Dourif. Yes, the daughter of Brad Dourif, the voice of Chucky!
Yesterday, Child’s Play creator Don Mancini teased that he’s begun location scouting the seventh Child’s Play film, while also tagging Jennifer Tilly in the post. He confirmed our story in a follow-up tweet, which is beginning to build excitement among former cast members.
This afternoon Dourif, pictured above and below, tweeted out a tease of her own:

It sounds as if Dourif’s battle with Chucky will continue, only this time she’s going to have to go up against Tilly’s Tiffany, who somehow returned to human form.
There’s a lot of questions left after the post-credit sequence in Curse of Chucky in which Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) presumably got his revenge.
Man, this is exciting! While all of our favorite franchises are getting reboots, Chucky continues to live in-canon with no end in sight!
