When it comes to different kinds of zombies in film and TV, we think we’ve seen them all. From those that have come back because of radiation to those who were virally infected. From the demonically possessed to those who have had a spell cast upon them by Haitian Voodoo. These are just a few examples of the many ways that we’ve seen the undead shamble back forth from beyond the grave.
When it comes to AMC’s “The Walking Dead“, we’ve never really been given a good reason as to why the dead have come back to “life”. But what we do know is that they are pretty harmless unless found in large groups. They’re falling apart, they’re easy to kill, and they’re not exactly all that mobile. Well, they weren’t all that mobile until Jimmy Kimmel got his hands on them.
Kimmel created a mock clip of a scene from the popular show that shows star Norman Reedus rummaging for supplies in a parking structure only to face a group of zombies unlike anything we’ve seen before. Mainly because they’re riding those ridiculous “hoverboard” things that aren’t hoverboards at all! STOP LYING TO ME WHEN I CAN SEE THE WHEELS ON THE GROUND!!
The clip is “Kimmel amusing”, which means it’s funny in the moment but doesn’t really do much for me after the fact. Still, I’d give it a watch as it’s done really well!
