We’ve been breaking a lot of stories behind Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters, which carries a dance number with the logo ghost, known as “Rowan.”

We also told you that Slimer was going to make an appearance, which shouldn’t be that much of a shock considering he’s the one sellable character (next to Stay Puft).

Michael K. Williams, the badass from “The Wire” and “Boardwalk Empire”, shocked us when he told EW that he has a scene with the little green spud!

“I’m not going to lie, working with Melissa, and Kristen, and Kate, was really dope. But I got to work with Slimer, dude. Like Slimer!!! I’m in a scene with Slimer! I’m a huge ‘Ghostbusters’ fan and it was a dream come true.”

While he doesn’t go into detail about their encounter, he does reveal his role in the film, opening in theaters July 15, 2016.

“I play the FBI agent who works for the mayor. Our whole thing is, we’re going to tell the people it was a flash in the sky and ‘Run along little women with your ghosts, we got this.’ That was a dream job. They’re at the top of their game, man.”

Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones are the new Ghostbusters; Feig has filmed cameos (in new roles) for many of the original cast, including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts, and even Sigourney Weaver.

In addition to Leigh Whannell’s upcoming Universal Monsters movie Wolf Man, Julia Garner (The Royal Hotel) has also joined the cast of Weapons, THR has announced tonight.

Weapons is the new horror movie from New Line Cinema and director Zach Cregger (Barbarian), with Julia Garner joining the previously announced Josh Brolin (Dune 2).

The upcoming Weapons is from writer/director Zach Cregger, who will also produce alongside his Barbarian producing team: Roy Lee of Vertigo and J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules of BoulderLight Pictures. Vertigo’s Miri Yoon also produces.

The Hollywood Reporter teases, “Plot details for Weapons are being kept holstered but it is described as a multi and inter-related story horror epic that tonally is in the vein of Magnolia, the 1999 actor-crammed showcase from filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.”

Cregger was a founding member and writer for the New York comedy troupe “The Whitest Kids U’Know,” which he started while attending The School of Visual Arts. The award-winning group’s self-titled sketch comedy show ran for five seasons on IFC-TV and Fuse. He was also a series regular on Jimmy Fallon’s NBC series “Guys with Kids” and the TBS hit series “Wrecked,” and was featured in a recurring role on the NBC series “About a Boy.”

Weapons will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
