Magnet/Magnolia Pictures/recently dated their psychological thriller The Ones Below, releasing it in limited theaters and on VOD on May 27th.
The feature film debut of David Farr, who penned the script for Joe Wright’s thriller Hanna, is about “A couple expecting their first child discover an an unnerving difference between themselves and the couple living in the flat below them who are also having a baby.”
The exclusive poster premiere teases the tension between two mothers, eluding to a growing danger emitting from one of them.
The Ones Below, which debuted at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, pays homage to the more paranoid entries in Roman Polanski’s oeuvre as it depicts the tragic consequences of a drunken dinner party. (Variety)
