On the list of things that pair well with the new Doom, a playthrough narrated by the living embodiment of just about every hilarious Russian stereotype you’ve ever heard or seen in meme form would rank fairly high up there, next to pizza and metal music. It’s what makes this Let’s Play from YouTuber Life of Boris so damn entertaining, because Boris immediately gets it.
Where I see an amalgam art, writing, technology, and about nine years of hype, layered not unlike a Russian nesting doll, Boris sees an opportunity to shoot big guns at bigger demons. Forget my review, let’s see what this guy has to see about this year’s bloodiest video game.
