We’ve known about Telltale’s imminent reveal of The Walking Dead: Season 3, which the company plans to release on most major platforms this fall, but we haven’t known exactly when and where the world premier will happen until now. The acclaimed episodic series based on Robert Kirkman’s graphic novel of the same name will be shown to us a few days before the “official” start of E3 (June 14-16), as was recently detailed in a post on the studio’s website that confirms it will be unveiled during IGN’s pre-E3 show this Sunday, June 12, at 3pm PT / 6pm ET.
“There’s been a lot of speculation since the conclusion of the previous season in 2014 on where the story will go next,” writes Telltale, “and we’ve been working hard in the studio as well as with Robert Kirkman and our friends at Skybound to take the series in an unexpected direction.”
Bring on those feels, Telltale. We’re more than ready.
