If there is something strange in your playroom, who you gonna call?
I always thought it was funny that there was a LEGO movie, but not one for Playmobil, the wildly superior toy (I’ll fight you).
LEGO is huge, but having Hollywood behind the building blocks is one of the reasons it has become untouchable.
Playmobil has finally learned this – or maybe Hollywood is just exploiting another toy company – as there’s not only a movie in the works, but Playmobil has begun licensing properties.
The first is Ghostbusters, which was teased in the following video announcement. We’ll have to wait until 2017, which means it’ll probably tie into the home video release of Paul Feig’s remake.
