Ridley Scott is behind Morgan, this new female-led sci-horror-thriller hybrid that stars The Witch‘s Anya Taylor-Joy in the title role.
In the film, a corporate troubleshooter (Kate Mara) is sent to a remote, top-secret location, where she is to investigate and evaluate a terrifying accident. She learns the event was triggered by a seemingly innocent “human,” who presents a mystery of both infinite promise and incalculable danger.
We now have the art and second trailer for the Luke Scott-directed film that looks like some weird version new interpretation of Powder and Lucy, the latter which ended up being a monster box office success.
I love the poster, which proclaims the film’s title character as “IT,” because she/he was created in a lab. Was alien DNA used? There’s a huge mystery surrounding the story that’s kept in the box even in the second trailer, which feels like imminent doom is upon all of the researchers.
Toby Jones, Rose Leslie, Boyd Holbrook, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer, Jason Leigh, and Paul Giamatti also star.
