The weird trend of turning male horror icons into women continues!
Japanese toy company Kotobukiya has for the last few years been gender-swapping beloved pop culture characters for their Bishoujo line of statues, and their horror series to date includes Miss Freddy Krueger and Miss Jason Voorhees. Up next? Miss Chucky… and we’re pretty sure she’s not interested in mere child’s play.
As shown off at this past weekend’s New York Comic Con, the Miss Chucky statue puts a super sexy spin on the pint-sized killer doll, cutting those iconic suspenders off just below the waist and rolling that striped shirt down off the shoulders. Her hair tossed up in messy pigtails, Miss Chucky appears to be your friend till the end, but behind her back she hides a knife that she just can’t wait to bury into your heart. She also features alternate heads, one based on the standard Good Guys doll and the other a scarred up tribute to Bride of Chucky.
Speaking of Chucky’s bride, Tiffany also gets her own Bishoujo statue next June!
Check them both out below, and look for Miss Chucky in March 2017.
