How does Rob Zombie celebrate Halloween? The same way we all do!
Though he may be a hugely successful musician and filmmaker, Rob Zombie is, at the end of the day, one of us. In addition to making horror films, he shares a lifelong passion for watching them, and that almost always bleeds through in both his music and movies. Hell, the very first image seen in House of 1000 Corpses, Zombie’s debut feature, is actually from James Whale’s under-seen gem The Old Dark House, so he damn sure knows horror as well as any of us.
Of course, there’s no better time to watch horror movies than in the month of October, and over on his Instagram account (@RobZombieOfficial), Zombie just highlighted some of the horror films he and wife Sheri Moon Zombie have been watching this month. It seems there’s been a black & white horror marathon going on in the Zombie household.
The Zombie-thon has thus far included classic films like The Mummy’s Hand (1940), The Invisible Ray (1936), The Black Cat (1934), The Raven (1935), Horror of Dracula (1958), King Kong (1933), House of Frankenstein (1944), and Carnival of Souls (1962).
The Zombies sure do love their classic horror!
