R.L. Stine has been penning books in the Goosebumps franchise since way back in the summer of 1992, and in those 24 years, a grand total of 183 have been released. Needless to say, Stine is one of the most prolific writers in the game, and his stories have played no small part in introducing young audiences to the horror genre for well over two decades now.
For that, we love him.
Books like The Haunted Mask and Night of the Living Dummy are the stuff of legend, but what about all the titles that never made it to print? Surely Stine must’ve had a few ideas over the years that Scholastic just wasn’t interested in publishing? In this fun video he made with the folks over at Funny or Die, Stine reveals some of the stories his publisher refused to print.
Of course, this is all a joke, but it’s an entertaining watch nonetheless!
