A timely jab or mere coincidence?
Over the years, “The Walking Dead” (specifically makeup master Greg Nicotero) has become known for using its walkers to pay tribute to zombie movies past; as we reported last week, the show most recently spotlighted an undead homage to Night of the Comet. But did this past Sunday night’s episode feature a Donald Trump zombie? One eagle-eyed fan thinks so!
On Reddit this week, user GABBO63 posted two screen-grabbed images of the zombie in question from Season 7’s “The Cell,” asking his fellow Redditors if they were seeing what he was seeing. The zombie, crawling on the ground with a big gash on his head, certainly does have at least a passing resemblance to Donald Trump; his thinning hair, well, it’s very Trump-like indeed.
As you might expect, the thread quickly devolved into a volatile discussion, but we hope that sharing this silly little tidbit doesn’t yield the same result. We’re not interested in talking politics here on Bloody Disgusting, we just thought this was amusing and figured you might as well. It likely wasn’t intentional, but given the timing, one must wonder if Nicotero was having some fun here.
