Last night Starz aired the best episode of “Ash vs Evil Dead” yet, and if you haven’t watched it I would refrain from continuing on with this article.
In short, “Ash vs Evil Dead” became a full blown prequel to Sam Raimi’s first two Evil Dead films; setting the stage for the finale, Ash (Bruce Campbell) goes back in time to stop himself from reading the incantation out of the Necronomicon. In typical Ash fashion, everything goes wrong, including learning he’s the reason that Henrietta gets loose and kills everyone in the cabin. By the time the finale airs next Sunday night we could have a legitimate Evil Dead 4 on our hands, thanks to director Rick Jacobson, who helmed the final two episodes.
I really don’t know how they’re going to top this next season, but right now let’s just bask in the bloody glory of “Ash vs Evil Dead” and enjoy what could be a super groovy season finale. Just watching this promo gave me the chills…
