Celebrate Christmas with the Tall Man!
The Phantasm franchise was brought back to life this year in a big way thanks to the release of not just the JJ Abrams-supervised restoration of Don Coscarelli’s original 1979 classic but also brand new fifth installment Phantasm: Ravager – both of which are available on DVD and Blu-ray as of this week. And the Phantasm fun continues with an official holiday offering.
A partnership between Mondo, Middle of Beyond, and Don Coscarelli himself, the Phantasm Sentinel Sphere Ornament brings the Tall Man’s iconic weapon of choice to your Christmas tree, and the awesome piece just went up for pre-order through the Mondo website.
Explains Mondo:
Introduced in the 1979 horror classic PHANTASM, the Sentinel Sphere is the signature weapon of supernatural undertaker, The Tall Man. The flying silver orb is used to drill into the brain of his victims and drain their head-nog.
Unfortunately, the ornament won’t be shipping out until this coming January, so there’s no way you’ll have this bad boy in time for this year’s holiday season. But that’s okay, because you must remember that Christmas comes around every year.
