If you love someone and you want to let them know, Valentine’s Day is of course the perfect day to pour out your heart and show that person how much you care. At the time of writing this post, we’re just under two weeks away from the most romantic day of the year, and we want to help you profess your love like only a horror fan can… through horror movies, of course!
Artist Matthew Lineham is the man behind these horror-inspired Valentines, which use films like An American Werewolf in London, The Thing, and Killer Klowns from Outer Space to deliver surprisingly romantic messages of love. “I’m determined to make all the things I wish existed when I was a kid,” Lineham notes in his Instagram bio, and these damn sure fit that bill.
The coolest thing about these is that they’re not only available to share on social media but you can also purchase physical cards from Lineham’s online shop. He’s got two different ’80s horror-themed packs (the 2016 pack and the 2017 pack); each 8.5″x 11″ sheet includes 9 different tear-away designs and every pack comes with 3 sheets, so you get 27 Valentines total.
