The Fright Rags ‘My Bloody Valentine’ Collection Will Win Your Heart

Published

In this little town, when the fourteenth comes ’round, there’s a silence, and fear in the air.”

I’m not sure how there’s never been a sequel to My Bloody Valentine, but I do take some comfort in the fact that we got a kickass slasher film in 1981 and an equally kickass remake in 2009. Sure, the original film probably should’ve spawned a full-on franchise, but there’s something kinda special about a classic slasher movie that never did launch a franchise, isn’t there?

Fright Rags owner Ben Scrivens is a huge fan of the original film, and the company is paying tribute with the just-launched “Ballad of Harry Warden Collection.” The collection includes three different designs that are available on t-shirts, hoodies, and baseball tees, but that’s not all. There are also two My Bloody Valentine pins and the “Ballad of Harry Warden Box Set.”

The set features a new design by Matt Tobin on an exclusive black tee, a bloody heart enamel pin autographed by Paul Kelman (who played T.J. in the film), custom My Bloody Valentine candy hearts, and a collector’s box. It’s limited to just 200 pieces.

Tobin’s art is available separately on red tri-blend shirts, baseball tees, and zip-up hoodies. Non-autographed bloody heart enamel pins can also be purchased outside of the box set, along with Valentine’s Bluffs enamel pins. Finally, Justin Osbourn’s popular The Bloody Miner design has been reprinted on guys shirts, girls shirts, and hoodies.

Of the many one-off slashers, My Bloody Valentine is probably my favorite,” said Scrivens. “There’s something about it; perhaps the believable characters, interesting kills, or maybe the concept itself – it is just so much fun and never gets boring to watch.”

The Ballad of Harry Warden Collection is on sale now at Fright-Rags.com. Domestic orders will arrive in time for Valentine’s Day, but quantities are limited.
